Noi Na Chocolates Branding and Packaging Design
Recently I was traveling to New York and visited Chelsea Market. I was lingering in small side shop and immediately was drawn to the chocolates section—the packaging drew me in. So many different colorful, beautifully designed chocolates were all around me and I thought … I want to create my own.
Wondering where I came up with the name “Noi Na”? I was inspired by the documentary Love & Bananas. It’s about the plight of asian elephants and how they are sold for their ivory. These animals are close to my heart, which is why the design of my packaging is inspired by them. Theoretically, each chocolate bar that is purchased would go to Elephant Nature Park, a sanctuary dedicated to the rescue and rehabilitation of rescued elephants.
